Peter Wegmann Ceramics
Having been involved in a vast range of projects over the years, DSP have acquired a broad customer base and skill set to match. DSP were on hand to offer their expertise to this major brick producer looking for a solution to a long standing production line issue. The dilemma was how to provide an enclosure for the production line staff that would provide a good barrier against both noise and dust but still allow optimum visibility. There were also size limitations causing further issues as well as concerns about profit loss due to shut down.
DSP went back to the drawing board and were able to design and install a double glazed acoustic enclosure that ticked all of the boxes. Working alongside the client’s electrical contractors, DSP’s flexibility allowed the customer to minimise drastically the amount of shut-down required. Following the success of the enclosure, many more are now planned which is good news for the client and for the client’s staff.
