Advanex Europe Office Design & Fit Out

When our designers first visited Advanex’s Bilborough offices they were faced with compartmentalised thick block offices throughout. The offices were dated and gloomy with no daylight penetrating the internal offices. The flow of spaces and interconnectivity was also greatly prohibited by the setup of the internal block walls with various adhoc rooms being added on over the years. Likewise the existing services were in need of complete overhaul.

The client’s brief was clear from the outset; completely gut and modernise the existing Ground Floor offices in order to provide a high-end open plan office with support spaces. In addition to the complete refit of the interior, external elements such as windows were to be replaced. A modern aluminium glazed screen and double door was installed to create a new main entrance, providing a great first impression.

Following the complete strip out our skilled fitters set about realising the new design scheme. In contrast to the previous gloomy, compartmented spaces; the extended office space was now light and airy with partly screened off zones using striking manifestation designs on to glazed partitions. For the first time there was now an impressive dedicated Reception space with Meeting facility adjacent leading into to the main offices. To the rear a large Training and Meeting Room incorporating A/V equipment was introduced. The Open Plan office incorporates an abundance of storage space including fitted full height storage wall and standing height storage units that helped sub-divide the various departments.

In contrast to the drab and industrial office look from yesteryear the new interior design scheme has completely rejuvenated the offices. Incorporating bold graphics combined with contrasting furniture finishes and funky flooring design the scheme provides the staff with a vibrant working environment. In addition the overhaul of the M&E services coupled with the upgrade to the perimeter windows now provides a healthier environment that is more sustainable incorporating natural ventilation, efficient A/C systems and LED lighting.
