EQS Ltd Office Design & Fit Out

EQS Ltd is one of the leading distributors of products for patchwork, quilting and home sewing in Europe. DSP were approached by EQS Ltd in the first instance to provide a quotation to undertake the fit out works for an initial plan. EQS had a warehouse space located within the same building and wanted to create a head office for operations but also to act as a marketing hub for the range of products they distributed. The unit of the building scheduled to move in to was totally unfinished and required a complete fit out including upgrading thermal elements, dry lining, ceilings partitions and building services.

After consultation and analysis of all the clients’ requirements, we were able to completely re-evaluate the concept. Our designers saw an opportunity to develop the initial plans, removing large expanses of corridor and utilising the space better. In doing so the floor space became more fluid with the demarcated corridor flowing around the clusters of teams, partially separated by free standing curved screens. Fully glazed partitions either side of the open plan office provided private meeting spaces and two enclosed offices.

The interior design scheme was chosen to complement the range of products distributed by EQS Ltd. Purples, Gingers and Greys were incorporated with plenty of white spaces for the client to display products throughout the offices. Random frosted manifestation bands with cut out logos and slogans were applied to the various faceted curved glazed partitions to add an interesting but subtle back drop. Furniture desking systems, task chairs and soft seating were all specified and installed by DSP allowing the whole scheme to work well as a whole.

DSP undertook all elements of the project from interior design, building services, furniture specification and installation, project management and so forth; allowing us to complete the remarkable transformation of a bare structure through to a fully functioning office space in minimal time and with maximum impact.
