WARD Recycling Ltd Office Design Design & Fit Out

In line with continued growth and expansion, Ward Recycling Ltd had undertaken construction of a new Weighbridge, 3 Storey Office and a large metal sorting Warehouse facility. DSP was appointed by the client to work alongside the structural steelwork contractor to provide the interior design and fit out element of the project.

The first task was to upgrade the external cladding via insulated external dry-lined walls to ensure energy compliance. The design team then transformed the building shell into an impressive office and amenity facility combining technologies such as Heat recovery ventilation / air conditioning and Hydroptaps with high end finishes such as Granite worktops and back painted splashbacks. Material and finishes combinations were carefully selected to introduce an ‘Eco feel’ infused with splashes of colour via accent walls and furnishings. In the changing facilities Aged Oak plank ceramic tiles were mixed with striking Green cubicles and panelling in alignment with Ward’s own branding.

To inspire staff and reap the health benefits of Biophilic inspired interiors a large Forest graphic was installed into the Amenity area running the length of the Canteen. Concrete effect flooring was also utilised and a striking motif cut into the floor with earthy coloured sections. The Biophilic theme extended throughout the other floors which housed Offices, high-end Tea Points, bespoke Toilets and a Boardroom. The Boardroom included a bespoke AV unit, floating ceiling raft with strip lights, bespoke concrete effect table and luxury plank concrete floor tiles.

The Ward fit out is the latest in a long line of projects DSP have undertaken on a turnkey basis inclusive of design, HVAC, plumbing, bespoke joinery, Kitchens, toilets, ceilings, partitions, doors, Office furniture, storage, flooring and finishes.
