We’re excited to share that DSP (Interiors) Ltd has been shortlisted for the Interior Fit-Out Under £1M category at this year’s FIS Contractors Awards. The prestigious industry accolade recognises excellence and innovation in the sector.
Our nomination celebrates the successful transformation of a 16,000 sq. ft. empty building. From a shell into a bespoke, high-performance office and warehouse facility this created an efficient workspace for for AMS Hayley Derby, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of engineering components.
The project, located at Dunstall Park in Derby, was a full design and fit-out, encompassing every aspect of AMS Hayley’s operational needs. We were tasked with delivering a space that could seamlessly combine office functionality with efficient warehousing and logistics.

The multi-faceted project turned an empty shell into a modern, high-quality office and logistics hub. The finished space includes a spacious office area with meeting rooms, breakout zones, welfare facilities and design elements like biophilic graphic walls and acoustic tiles and slat walls to elevate the space.
The fit-out included:
A large, open-plan office with private meeting rooms
Stylish breakout and welfare areas
Bespoke acoustic slat walls and ceiling rafts for improved sound quality
Biophilic graphic feature walls to enhance wellbeing and aesthetics
A complete warehouse infrastructure including racking, goods-in/out zones, and storage solutions
Mechanical and electrical installations, HVAC, LED lighting, fire and security systems
Full internal finishes including partitions, flooring, ceilings, and bespoke joinery
This project exemplifies our integrated design-and-delivery approach, balancing creativity with functionality.

This nomination marks yet another milestone in our longstanding success at the FIS Awards. We were shortlisted in 2023 for our SureScreen Diagnostics project; awarded Silver in 2018 for the Robinson Structures headquarters; and proudly won Gold in 2017 for the KTM Sportmotorcycle HQ at Silverstone Park.
